At Matai Huka Garden Weddings we offer the complete package; a stunning location and venue, a marquee dressed to suit your wedding theme, sumptuous cuisine, a talented and artistic florist, a warm and welcoming wedding celebrant, a Boutique ‘honeymoon’ Cottage and a wonderful photographer, who will capture your day and ensure you have treasured memories to share with family and friends forever.
Our venue looks out over beautiful native bush and offers you numerous captivating spots to choose the perfect setting to exchange your vows, whether it’s under the arbore, or in front of one of our serene ponds, our wonderful rusty old Fergi tractor or our wagon wheel in the rock garden.

OUR VENUE HIRE INCLUDES ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
Dressed Arbore draped with white voile, flowers and a stunning chandelier. There are other options on the property to choose from also.
Chairs in Ceremony area – bows in inside chairs
Option of shepherd’s hooks down aisle with vases of flowers, rose balls or other
Table for signing the register dressed with beautiful lace cloth and vase of fresh flowers
Marquee with ceiling draping, wall draping and blanket fairy lighting behind bridal table

PHOTOGRAPHER
Tony Lincoln has a lot of wedding photography experience. He has an impeccable eye for detail and capturing stunning photos of brides and grooms special day.
After 20 years owning a Scaffolding company, he has not had the time for it, however, after now selling his company he has the time to follow his passion for photography. He has invested in all new quality camera gear and is ready to pick up where he left off!

Jaunty Catering is a family run operation located on the Kapiti Coast and pride themselves on giving every customer personal and friendly service. After 27 years cooking in restaurants in the UK, Australia and New Zealand their passion is to bring restaurant quality dinning to your special event.
CELEBRANT
Our Celebrants are Karen Rodgers-Sinclair and Genaya Naisbitt.
Karen has a wonderful, bubbly personality and is fantastic at helping with vows if needed.

FLOWERS

That Little Cake Shop
Alisha works with you to ensure your cake looks and tastes amazing.
She offers a huge variety of cakes, but as a guide they would start from around $250.00.

Cake Friday
Offering delicious bespoke cakes custom made especially for your celebration. Cake Friday cakes are designed to delight the eye, and, most importantly, your tastebuds.
Cake Friday cakes are made to be eaten!! They use the finest quality ingredients and their cakes are made from scratch. Based in Kapiti, their cakes are made with local produce- organic home grown fruits and flowers are used to flavour and decorate whenever possible. It is their philosophy that cakes are food first- they aim to wow your guests; read their many five star reviews for confirmation of this here.
ALCOHOL
We allow you to bring your own alcohol and our wait staff will serve. We can help with ideas on how much you will need.
You will need to hire a trailer/chiller if number of guests is over 50.

Ceremonies and services by Genaya, will have you at the heart. This is your ceremony and that will always be at the forefront. Genaya will write your personalised wedding ceremony officiated with warmth and fun.
