At Matai Huka Garden Weddings we bring a new concept in weddings for couples wanting to have the “fairy tale” celebration, without the huge costs. We eliminate the need to cut down numbers of special friends and family with whom you want to share your “special day”.
We also know you want your wedding to be stylish, memorable and a total reflection of who you are as a couple.

Our venue looks out over beautiful native bush and offers you numerous captivating spots to choose the perfect setting to exchange your vows, whether it’s under the arbore, or in front of one of our serene ponds, our wonderful rusty old Fergi tractor or our wagon wheel in the rock garden.

Wedding Celebrant – Karen Rogers-Sinclair
As a celebrant I’m passionate about bringing two fabulous people together in marriage. My focus is for you both to enjoy every minute of the journey, every step of the way. It should be fun planning the ceremony behind the scenes then sharing all your thoughts, ideas and love with family and friends in any location, at any time.
I love that no two people are the same, and neither are your vows, ideas, traditions or preferences. With open minds and open hearts I will do whatever it is you visualise for you and your soulmate on your special day. If you need a helping hand with suggestions, or some guidance with readings, vows or the order of the ceremony, then I’m here to give you a helping hand.
I have lived on the Kapiti Coast most of my life and have a strong connection to the community and area. I have a lifestyle block, and have been working at Montessori preschool for nearly three decades.
